Daily Pages: A Trio of Quick Pages

Finishing up this notebook before the end of the month

It’s the last day of September, and tomorrow starts spooky season. I had a ton of fun making spooky/witchy/halloween-esque vibe pages last year, and I want to do the same this year.

With my Daily Pages Live sessions, I like to give myself and the folks attending about 30 minutes for creating. Usually, that means I’m making one page that takes up about that time. But today, I wanted to finish up my notebook, so I could start a fresh one tomorrow for October, which meant creating a couple more simple pages today.

I’m also still feeling slightly under the weather (this sore throat is lasting foreverrr), so keeping things simple for today was a great way to rest my brain a bit.

Technique of the Day

I made three simple pages, using stuff that I have lying around my desk. My goal for these pages wasn’t to do anything groundbreaking, just to finish up my notebook, clean up my desk a bit, and make some stuff with my hands.

Here are the three pages and a bit about each one:

Yay! Football is back. We’re a huge NFL family. Sundays are sacred for us, it’s time for family and being at home. It takes something pretty big to get us to spend the day outside the house. I think having a reset day is essential to my mental and physical health, so having a thing on Sundays—especially as the days start to get shorter—is a great way to keep the routine going.

If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I love cutting up these quote cards from Brandi Kincaid to put into my notebooks. Usually, I don’t get around to putting these simple ones in my Daily Pages notebook because it only takes a couple of minutes. But, it was perfect for today’s trio of small pages.

Finally, I finished up my notebook with these stickers that I created a few months back with my gel plate and some leftover Avery labels. I’ve had these on my desk forever, and it felt great to finally use them up and get one more thing out of my space.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Honor Your Reset Day

A weekly anchor—football, Sunday dinners, whatever it is—keeps you grounded as the seasons shift. Your pages can hold that rhythm too.

Pro Tip: Document your reset routine with a simple list: what you eat, what you watch, and how you wind down.
