It’s a purple kind of month
I’ve had such a good time in this month’s spooky book — so much purple.
Behind the Page
I’m not feeling great today, so I’m gonna keep this short. I had a fun afternoon playing with paint. I tried out a few new colors and made a few different gel prints. I used a purplish-pink one for today’s page and dedicated it to last night’s football game.
Technique of the Day
Huge fan of just sticking stickers on the page. I’ve been holding on to these stickers to use on a page specifically about the Baltimore Ravens. Love how it turned out.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Let Your Supplies Do the Work
Some days, your energy is low, and you don’t have the mental capacity for big creativity. Those are the perfect days to let your supplies do the heavy lifting. Grab your favorite color of paint and swipe it across the page. Tear up some paper and glue it down in random spots. Your supplies are there to work for you, especially when your creative energy is running low.
Pro Tip: Have a few go-to supplies that make things easy when you're feeling drained—like stickers, colorful washi tape, or your favorite pen. What supplies give you that instant creative boost?
