I love how today’s page came out. I’m glad I had something ready to go, since this headache week is not getting all that much better today. Hopefully it’ll let up in time for our Daily Pages Fifth Anniversary Celebration (you are coming, right?) on Saturday.
No matter what, we’re going to have a great time. Hope to see you there!
Technique of the Day
So, yesterday I made that great gel print that just wasn’t drying—too many layers of paint and label paper combo made it tough to get a quick dry. Today, the first thing that I did was pull the print. I love how it came out today, so letting it dry overnight was definitely the right move.
I cut up the sheet into a bunch of little squares and stuck them down all over the page in a fairly haphazard manner. It looks pretty awesome as a background, and I’m super happy with it. I’m going to need to do more of these in the future.
I added a selfie and turned it into a Thursday3 page with a little draft tag.
