I woke up late today. Well, technically I woke up early and then went back to sleep. Unfortunately, I left my phone and my watch out in the living room; so all my alarms went off without me hearing anything :/
Fortunately, I was able to roll out of bed, brush my hair into a bun, and get over to the computer where I could get the day going. I’m so glad it’s Friday and I’ve got nothing going on this weekend except relaxing and whatever chores I feel like getting done.
I might also make some lemon bars?
Technique of the Day
Since I had such a small amount of time to play today, I pulled out this half collage sheet that I had created a few months back (so kind to future me). And I stuck that down on the page and found a few other little bits to go along with it.
One of the things that I do want to get done over the upcoming week is to organize all my stickers…they’re all over the place and starting to overflow, so I’d love to get that back under control.
I love just grabbing one or two little stickers to put on my pages, and it would be great if they were easier to grab right off the bat.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Use What You’ve Got (and Thank Past You)
When time is tight, having a stash of half-finished collage sheets or pre-cut backgrounds can make getting something on the page so much easier.
Pro Tip: Next time you’re in a creative flow, make one or two extra backgrounds or collage bases. Stick them in a folder and future-you will thank you on a chaotic Friday.
