I’ve had the rub-ons I used in today’s page for a good ten years. They’ve just been sitting in my stash of supplies—too cool to give away, but never right for a specific project. As I’ve been cleaning out my supplies and moving around my stickers, labels, etc—I came across these and decided that it was time to use them.
I left them on my desk so I could grab them for Daily Pages and see if they still worked. Spoiler alert—they worked surprisingly well.
Technique of the Day
I used up these old rub-ons. I’m a huge fan of just using stuff up in these books. They’re a great place for supplies that you really like, but might not fit in your larger documenting style. These were never right for any of my projects, but I absolutely love how it looks here on the notebook page.
I paired it up with a gel print that matched and a quote. Having quotes around is one of the easiest ways to finish up a page. There are so many brilliant words out there and I love having a place to keep some of my favorites.
