Daily Pages: Thursday3 for Spooky (Cute) Season

Using up my stuff + journaling some words

I love having Thursday3 to rely on when I’m not sure what I want to do. Today was especially perfect, because I’m still getting a feel for this notebook and it’s lined pages. I generally stay away from lined books because the lines honestly just get in my way, but I really wanted to use the cute notebook with the pumpkin on the front cover.

I think this book is going to have a bit more journaling than some of my other notebooks, and that’s just going to be because of the lines in the notebook, and I’m always pulled to write in them lol. I’ll definitely cover up a bunch of the pages with patterned paper or gel prints (like yesterday’s page); but the lines are really great for journaling—and Thursday3 is a big journaling page, so it was perfect for today.

Technique of the Day

Today was an easy day—I grabbed some stickers out of my October zipper envelope where I keep all my spooky season supplies. I was looking for something that had three medium-sized images that would work well as thursday3 number anchors. I went with the glittery owls, and I love them.

I added some numbers with my alpha stamps and my favorite purple ink and then journaled to fill up the page. I had a little bit of extra white space at the end, which I filled up with some more stamping and the rest of the stickers on my sticker sheet. You all know how much I love using up my supplies in my Daily Pages notebooks, and this is one more sticker sheet done!

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Anchor Yourself with Three

When you’re not sure what to make, Thursday3 is always there to catch you. Three quick notes about your life = instant page.

Pro Tip: Use numbers or icons as anchors—photos, stickers, doodles—anything that marks out three spots on the page.
