Hey friends—happy Friday! I hope you all had a good week. This week went by so quickly over here. It’s starting to get a lot cooler here in Michigan—we’re expecting snow and a high of 38 on Sunday. Sounds like a great day for some kind of slow cooked meal.
I’m really looking forward to this weekend. I want to do a bit more organizing in my house—my studio is a complete disaster after moving everything around the house to put together the baby’s room. I’d like to get it to a place where I can at least walk around comfortably, even if things aren’t exactly where I want them yet.
I’ve got some helpful ikea organization stuff to put together which should make things a lot easier. The three things on my weekend agenda are to put all the boxes away, figure out where the organization stuff goes, and start thinking about medium-term paper storage.
Technique of the Day
For today’s page, I just wanted to have a little fun to end the week, so I grabbed a black ultra wide paint marker and created some marks on my gel print. I followed that up with the white Sharpie creative marker. I finished up the print with my favorite Golden Florescent Magenta paint.
To finish up the page, I cut the print down to size, glued it in the book—and then added some TGIF letter stickers.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
End the Week with Play
Fridays are for fun pages—no rules, no big ideas, just color and movement to close out the week.
Pro Tip: Grab a bold tool (like a wide marker or chunky brush) and make fast marks. Big gestures = instant release.
