Okay—since I’m sending out these Daily Pages emails next day, I’m going to push the Saturday newsletter to Monday morning. This will be our new summer schedule. Thanks for being here while I figure it all out!
I had such a fun time making Daily Pages this week. I got a variety of different page techniques in. Some weeks, I just want to gel print or stamp every day of the week. Some weeks I just want to do different and random stuff each day. This week was one of those weeks.
Technique of the Day
Today, I just pulled out a bunch of my new-ish scrapbook supplies. Mostly stuff from Ali Edwards, but a few other little bits and bobs in there. I didn’t have a specific story in mind, but I had a stack of photos that I’ve been wanting to scrapbook. So, I flipped through those and picked out one that fit nicely in the notebook.
One of the fun things about doing the different techniques this week—was that black line work show up on several of my pages. Whether it was on some gel prints, or playing around with these scrapbook supplies, I had some black pen marks on the page. It’s always fun to notice what you pull through from day to day when you’re creating.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Let the Black Lines Work Their Magic
You know the drill: bold black lines = instant cohesion and contrast.
Pro Tip: Outlining your focal point or journaling with a black pen helps pull the whole page together—especially when your background is loud.
