Daily Pages: Playing Around with Embossing & Texture

A simple test run turned into a whole new direction for my creative practice.

I hope you’re all having a great day. Today’s page is just a simple, text only, Thursday3. It’s my go-to way to get a bunch of random things into my notebook that I wouldn’t otherwise bother commenting on.

Technique of the Day

I played around with some white embossing powder today, I wanted to see how much it would stand out on the darker gel print—it’s a lot.

I’m having fun with these embossing powders, and I’ve got a bunch of them left, so I’m going to keep playing with them and seeing what I like to do. I know that I want to experiment more with these and some watercolors, but I need a nice long afternoon to dive into that the way I want to.
