Summer has been weird so far. The heat wave was making it nearly impossible to get back here and get work done in the afternoon, so I’ve made some schedule adjustments and I’m waking up early so that I can get some tech time in before it gets too hot in here.
So, at least for the next few weeks—you’ll be getting these emails the following day, instead of in the evenings. It gives me the chance to do all the video work during a cooler time and not put too much pressure on the computer during the hottest hours of the day.

Technique of the Day
I needed something a little quicker for today, since I spent a good ten minutes picking out my new notebook. So I just grabbed a random gel print that I had stashed, and paired it up with these little bronze journaling circles.
I came up with a quick journaling prompt: 5 Things I Love About Summer, and added in a few little words.
To finish up, I just added some linework around the little bits, and a super simple page for the day, with a little bit of storytelling.
