Before today’s live show even started, I had an idea for what I wanted to do on the page. As soon as the show started, I completely forgot what I wanted to do, other than ‘start with a bunch of black lines on the gelli plate’.
If you listen to the video, I’m literally narrating my struggle to remember what it was that I wanted to do. I absolutely did not remember the original full project idea, but I’m happy with the pivot that I took today.
Honestly, I just went with something chill and relaxing, and I think that’s why I’m satisfied with the way things turned out.
Technique of the Day
For today’s page, I pulled out the gelli plate and used the Sharpie Creative Marker to create some fun lines. Some thin lines, some thick lines, all with the same black bullet tipped markers.
I picked out a few different colors of acrylic paint and colored everything in as much as I could. I’m thrilled with the results.
