Oh man am I tired today. My brain is just not thinking the way it used to—creative ideas are taking more time, or honestly, just not coming to me at all these days. But honestly, NBD because I’ve got a million different recipes for creating Daily Pages that I’ve stored away for days (and weeks/months) just like this.
Recipes are great for when you’re not up for coming up with new creative ideas on the fly. A few of my favorites (most of which you already know) are:
Currently List
Thursday3
Scrap Collage (what I used today)
Mini Scrapbook Page
Repeating Stamped Background
Cut Up Quotes
Stickerscapes
Honestly, this would make a great Saturday newsletter—I’m gonna have to put that together one of these days and link to all the great Daily Pages I’ve created over the years.
Technique of the Day
Today, I pulled out a quick recipe for a scrap collage. I grabbed a box of smaller patterned paper scraps and picked out all the scraps in black and white. I think it’s always easiest to pick a color family when my brain isn’t working—it relies more on my eyes than it does my brain and that’s perfect. My eyes and my hands are still working perfectly.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Systems Beat Inspiration
A sustainable creative habit isn’t about feeling inspired—it’s about having systems that carry you through low-energy seasons.
Pro Tip: If you’re stuck, ask “Which recipe fits my energy today?” instead of “What should I make?”
