Daily Pages: Back in the Studio

So glad the heatwave is over (for now)
1

Yessss—I was finally able to get back into my studio and create live on camera for the first time this week. It felt so great to get back in here.

It’s still pretty gross outside—super humid, lots of rain—not amazing for my headaches. But, the inside of the house is so much cooler, and it’s not killing my head to be back here on the computer for the first time in almost a week.

This afternoon I was able to spend a really good chunk of time putting some final touches on the Find Your Voice printables/downloads. I’m absolutely loving how they’re coming out. I’m so excited to use it all in my own projects, so I hope everyone else loves it too.

If you’re not already signed up for summer camp—check it out here. We start in just a few weeks!

Technique of the Day

I got a new envelope of Hope from Brandi in yesterday’s mail. I flipped through to find something i wanted to put on today’s page, and came across this great royal blue quote card.

My original plan was to collage over on the left side in all blue, with a pop of yellow and pink (like the quote); but I just did not have the right stuff for an all blue collage.

No worries—quick pivot to a little heart in the perfect color with some pink and yellow puffy dot stickers. All the colors, just a little more of a minimalist vibe.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Let the Supplies Lead the Way

Had a plan but didn’t have the right materials? No big deal—follow what you do have. You can always pivot without losing the heart of the page.

Pro Tip: Use one focal point (like a quote card or sticker) to anchor your page, then build around it with whatever’s on hand.
