My brain is all consumed with tomorrow’s Daily Pages Fifth Anniversary celebration. I hope you’ll join us, we’re going to have a great time, and I’m so proud of the last five years.
Technique of the Day
I needed something easy today, so I grabbed this Brandi Kincade art card that I had lying on my desk after doing some organization last night. First, my plan was to use a gel print for the background, but nothing looked right, so I swapped to some patterned paper, and I love how the whole thing came out.
The art print started out as a vertical 5x7 print, which is just slightly smaller than the overall size of my Daily Pages notebook—but the notebook is horizontal, not vertical. Usually, I can shift things around and fit them on the horizontal page; but that just wasn’t going to work today.
So, I rotated my page and added a little flip to make the page interactive and share the full message. I added a cute little sun sticker to the underside of the flip to match the rise message. I love it!

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Use Interactive Elements to Fit It All In
When your supplies don't quite fit your page layout, try a little interactive flip-up (or out) panel. It's an easy way to include oversized elements—like art prints or photos—without any type of destructive cutting that might me necessary otherwise.
Pro Tip: Use a coordinating sticker or embellishment on the flip side to make the interactivity feel intentional and fun.
