Behind the Page
I love how today’s page came out. I was feeling like I had some pretty good creative energy this morning, and I had an idea before I even started — so it was fun to put everything together and get something that I’m really satisfied with.
You can check out the video below to see how I put together the background (gel print, then stencil + markers, then stickers). My favorite part is the little pops of yellow and silver shiny-ness of the stickers.
Technique of the Day
This week’s Currently List:
Watching:
Football (my team is so bad). Also, lots of other sports? Yesterday, we put on some baseball and watched the Dodgers beat the Mets to get into the World Series. And in the morning we put on the League of Legends World Championships as we were making breakfast.
Reading:
I’m waiting for Book 2 of like three different series, so this week I’ve just been trying out a bunch of different books that I’ve got on my kindle.
Listening:
The Iron Flame audiobook. I’m almost done with this one, so I’m gonna start the ACOTAR audiobooks next.
Making:
We made the best pancakes this weekend. Apple Pie pancakes. I cooked down some apples with brown sugar and cinnamon to make apple pie filling. I also made some standalone crumble topping, and vanilla icing. We used this recipe for the pancakes. They were amazing.
Feeling:
I’m not feeling great today, my head has been hurting a bunch, which then makes my stomach hurt, and its just a vicious circle.
Planning:
I’m planning us a little trip up to Northern Michigan to go and check out the leaves and all the pretty colors.
Loving:
I’m loving all the pretty fall colors. I love the warm tones and the different textures.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Use the Currently List as a Snapshot of Your Day
The beauty of the Currently List? It’s like taking a quick snapshot of your life in this exact moment. What are you watching, reading, feeling right now? This simple list becomes a powerful way to document the small details that often slip through the cracks. And honestly, looking back, these tiny details tell the story of how you’ve grown, what you’ve loved, and what’s inspired you over time.
Pro Tip: Pick a regular time—morning, evening, whenever you’ve got five minutes—and make it a ritual. How does it feel to create a weekly snapshot of your life?
