Behind the Page
My words are definitely limited today — I’ve got so many headaches right now. It’s raining like crazy and the pressure change is one of my worst triggers. Luckily I don’t have too much going on this week aside from dinner on Thursday, so I can chill out, make my pages each day and enjoy what I can.
Technique of the Day

Football (I made chicken parm last night in tribute to our new QB). Also, the MLS playoffs have been amazing. NYRB (which I’ve been following since I was about 10 years old) advanced and will play in the conference finals next weekend. lots of other sports? Also, I accidentally let my Hulu subscription unpause last week, so all the Hulu shows are on the TV here. I’ve really been enjoying Interior Chinatown. It’s so hard to describe but it’s such a delight.

All the notes that I’ve been organizing in my Obdisian notes program. I’ve finally got it in a place that makes me feel excited for writing in 2025.

The end of Eclipse — the third Twilight book. I’ll switch back over to The Great Library series when I’m done with this series.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Decorate Each List with the Theme of the Week
Bring some fun into your list by decorating the page in line with your week’s vibe. Watching a space documentary? Add some stars and moons. Just finished a cozy book? Maybe some warm-toned washi or hand-drawn blankets. Your list becomes a fully themed experience. You know the adage ‘a picture is worth a 1000 words’? If that’s true, then I feel like doodles and art supplies have to count for at least a few hundred words too.
Pro Tip: Use stickers, pretty papers, or washi tape to quickly add some flair to your list. How does decorating your list change the way you feel about your week?
