You Don't Have to Move Mountains

What a relief, right? I'm so not ready for any mountain-moving this week.

Behind the Page

I didn’t feel like thinking much today, but I wanted to work on something that would keep my hands busy. I grabbed a bunch of patterned paper and flipped through the sheets until I found something that looked fun to cut.

Technique of the Day

I love how these flowers frame the page. I used my small scissors to do the precision cutting. There were a few places I cut extra and a few places where I didn’t bother cutting every little bit off. Because the background of my patterned paper is a similar shade to my notebook paper, it works well.

Reflections & Insights

Look at your patterned papers for great bits to cut out and use on your pages. This is an extra good idea if you’ve got a ton of patterned paper around in sizes that you don’t use as much any more! Grab those 12x12 paper pads and cut out some of the cool things on the paper.
