Studio Rearrange: September 2015

I spent most of Labor Day weekend (with the exception of my amazing beach day on Sunday) rearranging the furniture and doing a deep-clean organization in my studio. Now that the holiday is over and the days of routine are upon us, I want to have an organized and efficient workspace so that I can get shit done.
My studio takes up half of a huge room in the back of our house. The other side of the room has our TV & entertainment system which is wired for 7.1 surround sound (which makes scrapbooking + jamming out super fun). It also makes it super easy to grab some supplies and scrapbook in front of the TV if I want to watch a movie or some sports.

The biggest change was the relocation of my 2x4 Ikea Kallex (new version of the Expedit) rolling desk from up against the wall to the middle of the room. Right now it feels a little bit weird to have this big piece of furniture hanging out in the middle of the room, but I really love having the extra work space. Also it's on wheels -- so it's easy to move out of the way if I need some extra space (like for our J's Birthday/Rosh Hashanah dinner party on Saturday). The wheels lock solidly though, so even if I'm leaning on it doesn't budge. I highly recommend the Kallax and the wheels as a makeshift standing desk.

Of course I'm still in love with my big huge kitchen island standing desk (which I don't think they make anymore at Ikea). Over the weekend I cleaned out all the drawers and moved everything around. I found new homes for my washi tape, my favorite stamps, and bulky embellishments.
On Purging:
I didn't actually get rid of a lot of stuff. I haven't really amassed all that much more stuff since I moved out here last summer, I just really needed to organize what I have and make sure everything had a place. I started a box of scrapbook supplies for friends -- all good stuff, but stuff that I'm just not into and I think might fit someone else's style a little bit better.

I'm just about finished up here. My biggest hurdle at the moment is my paper collection. I'm not really sure how to organize my 12x12 paper, my cardstock, my scraps, and all the amazing paper that I've collected over the years. I do best when I keep things where I can see them, but it's almost impossible to keep 12x12 paper out in a place where I can see it all the time.
Do you have a storage solution for 12x12 paper? What are your biggest organizing struggles right now?
