Day # 12 Behind the Page

With my win yesterday, I wanted to build on that and create something I really liked today. I had on a cute pink sweater, so I grabbed a Thursday3 photo in the morning and used my Daily Pages time to print it out on my mini-printer. I love having this little thing for quick Daily Pages pictures.

Technique of the Day

This full page of rub-ons is going to be one of my favorite pages in the whole book. I can already tell. When I was getting ready to make the page, I thought I would cut them all out and arrange them on the page to fill it up in a cute way — but it turns out that it fit perfectly right on the page, and already looked great, so why mess with it? I love the rainbow colors on this page and all the books make me so happy.

For those of you unfamiliar with December Daily Pages, it’s a mix of two creative traditions I love: Ali Edwards’ December Daily, a holiday storytelling project, and my own Daily Pages routine, a creative habit I’ve practiced since 2018. By blending these approaches, I’ve found a way to balance holiday cheer with the everyday joys of scrapbooking and storytelling.

Share your pages (and find inspiration!) in the Awesome Ladies Project app. I’ll be posting my pages there throughout the month.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Keep It Easy with Instant Prints

A mini photo printer is perfect for quick, low-effort photos for your Daily Pages. It streamlines the process and makes it easy to integrate quick pictures into your layouts without the hassle of your regular photo setup.

Pro Tip: Keep a small stash of pre-cut mats or cardstock wherever you keep your printer to quickly add a little something extra. How does making the process easier add more fun?
