What’s On Your TV This Week?
A page dedicated to the shows I’ve got on my television right now.
Behind the Page
I’ve talked a bit about how I haven’t been feeling well lately — a couple of different things going on with my headaches and other stuff. Mornings have been especially hard for me. I’ve been needing a few hours after I wake up and get out of bed just each day just to feel like a human being.
The only thing I’m really capable of is sitting on the couch with my Gatorade Zero (red and clear pls) and watching some television. So I’ve been getting through some great shows lately. I finished up Friday Night Lights early last week and restarted Game of Thrones. And like I mentioned yesterday, I’ve definitely got a lot of feelings about it.
Since that’s one of the only things I was thinking about this morning, by the time I got to my desk and saw this little TV die cut — I knew that I was making a page about all the television I’ve been watching lately.
Technique of the Day
I love how this silver glitter paper looks behind the TV die cut — it’s just like old-school static. I added this black and white phrase sticker to give it a little bit more interest. It felt right for the random tv shows that I’ve had on.
Sometimes just a tiny bit of something fancy can really make the whole page so much more amazing. It’s one of those things that goes a long way in making your pages more than the sum of its parts.
Reflections & Insights
I broke up the currently watching list into two parts:
New Shows
Shows I’m Rewatching
Sometimes I think that journaling can feel really overwhelming (especially when our brain is filled with all the stuff). Breaking my words down into lists and categories makes it so much easier for me to get it out of my head and onto the page.
Journaling doesn’t need to be in full prose or proper grammar for it to be meaningful. Whatever words you write out, in whatever way works for you and your brain, is worth it.
