Behind the Page

It’s a Thursday3 kind of day. For this week’s page, I pulled out an older photo from my stash of leftover prints. I’ve got lots of selfies lying around that I haven’t scrapbooked, and my Daily Pages notebook is the perfect place to make those happen.

What’s going on over here right now:

  1. This weekend is for planting everything that we’ve got here (all the stuff we’ve grown from seed); so that next week we can hit up some of the best plant sales.

  2. I’ve been making homemade flour tortillas, and they’re so amazing. I’ve been using this recipe from King Arthur and some tortilla flour that I got for Jeff for Christmas.

  3. It’s CSA day! This week we are getting ramps (wild leeks), asparagus, and more amazing bread. We’re going to have a great dinner tonight.

What’s going on in your life right now?

Technique of the Day

I wanted the stamped three to match the other side of the paper, so I took two ink pads and created this ombre effect. Watch the video below to check out how I did it.

Reflections & Insights

I love using old photos for my Thursday3 pages — it lets me reflect on the stories that are going on right now instead of what I think is happening in the picture. Or what was going through my head while I was taking the picture. If you’ve got old photos, this is a great way to use them!
