Behind the Page
I got my monthly Ali Edwards package in the mail over the weekend, and I wanted to play around with the coordinating stamps in the stamp set. They’re these really pretty wispy flowers that are just making me scream for spring.
Technique of the Day
I pulled a journaling card from the same set as the stamp, and used the colors in the card to decide what ink colors I’d be using in my background. It’s a great way to color match your pages in just a few seconds.
Tips & Creative Wisdom
The best way to learn how to use layered stamps is to practice. Practicing with your stamps helps you to get a feel for how they lay down, the best ways to layer them on top of one another, and to just see how it is to play with them. It makes you a lot more comfortable using stamps, and that’s why you’ll see me stamping in my Daily Pages all the time. I love getting that practice in.
