Tissue Paper + Foam Stamps + Paint = Collage
This is a super fun technique and you should give it a try.
Behind the Page
I wasn’t in the mood to print out my selfie for today, so I decided to go with a non-selfie Thursday3 for this afternoon. I’m loving shapes and colors right now, so this collage was super fun to put together.
Collage has been a really great resource right now. I love putting little bits together when everything in the outside world is feeling overwhelming. It’s not about perfection, it’s not about ‘putting things together correctly’, it’s just about taking the stuff that’s around me, and arranging it in a way that brings some positivity.
Technique of the Day
We talked last week about the tissue paper and the roll adhesive. That’s how I made the cute letters in a couple of my pages, and some collage as well.
Today I used a foam stamp and added some paint texture to the top of my tissue paper before cutting it all up and layering it in the notebook as you see it here. Having that roll adhesive on the back made this part super easy. It’s always gonna be my go-to tissue paper adhesive from now on.
