Behind the Page

I’ve had my Thursday3 tradition for a long while now — over a decade at this point. It’s not something that I do every single Thursday these days (my Instagramming days are long gone, so the social media pressure just isn’t there), but it is something that I love to fall back on every so often.

Technique of the Day

I didn’t feel like taking a brand new picture this morning before Daily Pages — but I had a ton of great selfies from my trip back east. I grabbed this one from the evening of the wedding and printed it out on my tiny pocket printer (it’s so great for quick Daily Pages photos).

There’s a tiny bit of purple in the photo — so I focused on that and grabbed some matching patterned paper and coordinating cardstock. I even used some dark purple ink for my stamping. I added a few little stickers and washi tape to finish up the page, and I love how it came out.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

One of the things that has been most helpful to get back into the swing of things is to lean into the themed days. It was great to start out on Monday with Currently List — and it was great to grab a photo today and journal a little bit for Thursday3.
