Behind the Page
I grabbed this photo while I was cleaning up this week, and knew I wanted to use it on my Thursday page. When I got to my desk this afternoon, I was thinking that I wanted to play around a little bit with some mixed media stuff — which I rarely do, because there are only a few things that really dry in the time that I like to finish my pages.
Technique of the Day
I picked up this cool roller stamp years ago at one of the big box craft shops. It’s really great for mixed media work, and I love how it helped me create the background above. To complete the mixed media vibe, I added some black paint using a silkscreen. I love the contrast it provides.
Reflections & Insights
Daily Pages is about play. Today I played with some fun mixed media stuff that I don’t usually pull out (talking about you Perfect Pearls). Use your Daily Pages time to play around with your supplies and have a good time creating.
How It’s Made
