Daily Pages 101
Join me for a free 5-lesson challenge to kickstart your creative practice, with the exact same method I've been using for the last 5+ years.
Welcome to Daily Pages 101
Hi, I’m rukristin: Feminist Scrapbooker, and I’m so excited to help you get started with Daily Pages. This is my daily creative scrapbooking practice, and in this course, you’ll learn everything you need to build your own creative habit to empower your story.
If you’re here, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re looking to document your daily life or just want to create a simple habit that fits into your busy schedule, I’ve got you covered.
In this course, we’re going to take it one step at a time. You’ll get to decide how much you want to engage with each lesson—whether it’s watching every video, doing the homework, or just taking five minutes a day for your own practice. There’s no “right” way to do this; it’s all about finding what works for you.
What do I put on my pages?
Literally whatever you want. There are no rules and there is no right or wrong way to do this project. That being said; I break it up into four categories:
Pictures: These can be photos, but they don’t have to be. Screenshots, memes, magazine cut-outs. Whatever images you are called to scrapbook, you can put into your Daily Pages notebook.
Creative Supplies: This is where the sky is legit the limit. I stamp a lot in my Daily Pages book. But you can do whatever you like. Drawing, inks, washi tape, literally whatever your aisle is at the craft store — use it on your page.
Words: You can journal on your Daily Pages. Paragraphs, lists, whatever you are comfortable with. You can use words in big titles on your more art-driven pages, or to describe a photo/image. Words are a storytelling tool.
The Bits of Life: Ticket stubs, cool ephemera, any memorabilia you pick up — these are all perfect things to use on a Daily Page. The scraps of life are where we find some of our best stories
