Take a Five-Minute Re-Focus
Currently List is an easy way to get back into your documenting routine
Last week I was feeling like I needed a little boost of me-power. The moving to Michigan date is getting closer and closer and I needed a quick re-focus on where I was right-now, instead of getting caught up in everything going on in the just distant future.
Do you ever find your mind going there? It's one of my biggest productivity killers -- I get anxious about those things that are just too far away to do anything about, and then I wind up paralyzed until its actually time to do something.
My Solution: A five-minute re-focus each day. What am I doing right now? Who is this person today?
Usually I fill out a Currently Journaling Card each Friday night -- I set an alarm on my phone for 8pm, I'm usually at my table crafting, so it's a great time to reflect back on the week. This week I needed an even closer focus on the right-now, so a card-a-day worked out perfectly.
Because I want the Currently List journaling challenge to be accessible to everyone, I made the original Currently Journaling card a free printable. You can print it out as many times as you like, on your favorite paper, and use it till your heart is content. If you share on instagram, feel free to tag me @rukristin or use the hashtag #CurrentlyList so I can check out your list.

Okay. I filled them out. What now?
I put these cards in my For Me album -- a no-rules, here's what I'm thinking/feeling right now scrapbook album. Using a 3 pocket-page protector and a 4 pocket-page protector, I fit all five cards in a spread with some room for a 4x6 Studio Calico card and a 3x4 Kelly Purkey letterpress card that I've been holding onto for way too long.
There are no right/wrong ways to use these cards. You can add them to your Project Life album, stick them in an art journal, make a mini-album out of them, or find a way to document them all your own. They are designed for you to tell your story -- go crazy with them.
Here's what my five cards look like in the album:

Take five days to re-focus on the right-now, commit to taking the Currently List challenge once a week, or fill out a list whenever it strikes your fancy.
