Behind the Page
I wasn’t feeling well this morning — it’s an ongoing thing, and some days are better than others. This morning was rough. One of the things I’ve been doing lately is waking up way early and putting myself onto the couch so I can ease into the day. It makes it a lot easier to get up and get on camera at Noon ET when I’ve really assessed how the day is treating me.
For today’s page, I tapped into this month’s Lens theme and started on the Daily Pages challenges.
Head over there and check them out — the challenge I picked out for today was ‘on my walk’. So I’ve got this photo of some new growth on one of the trees that I pass by on my daily walk. Seeing nature change each day is one of my favorite parts of this season.
Technique of the Day
Today I grabbed simple stuff. I wanted it to be an easy page for a hard day. The ombre patterned paper is some origami paper — it didn’t fit across both pages, but I like the look with a little bit of that orange grid paper underneath.
I added the photo and a few little bits that I keep in my embellishment containers.
Reflections & Insights
What are you currently watching? There’s some great TV on right now (and a few thing that I’m really not into). I love that I have this little space on Mondays where I can document the good stuff I was able to watch over the weekend.
The past few weeks I’ve been watching a lot of House MD with Jeff in the evenings and I just started Friday Night Lights as my background show. What’s on your screen right now?

Tips & Creative Wisdom
I hope you get to catch the Met Gala costumes tonight! I can’t wait to see everyone’s amazing outfits and see what people come up with for this year’s theme. I’m almost definitely going to be documenting it in my Daily Pages tomorrow — we’ll check in then and talk about our favorites!
