I wonder if I still have the books of the original Book of Me advocate and her challenges. I can’t remember her name at the moment. Oh Angie Peterson I think.

I feel old. Lol

It seems from googling it was about 2002. She sold quite a few books. She was in the art world promoting them and doing challenges. I consider her the pioneer of the Book of Me theme.

https://a.co/d/gXo2kmd one book on Amazon.

She used to have a blog. Seems to be gone and it’s minimal there now. http://52.207.69.141/portfolio/the-book-of-me-series/

I’m sure she’s still lurking around.

That makes sense! I was only starting out scrapbooking then; and as a high schooler at the time, I was very much not into the scene yet.

I did as you said. Took a selfie of myself holding my collage and used it for my latest note..It wasn’t so bad, I only took 3 before I got an ok one!

You inspired me, K! Got a selfie today and did a little collage work (and threw in the kids) in my journal and I am so grateful for the inspiration!

This is such good advice to someone who hates having their photograph taken. I will set up a file on my camera & build a selection up. Thank you, Kristin
