Project Life 2015: Spring

Project Life 2015
Project Life ™ is a memory-keeping/scrapbooking style designed by Becky Higgins. The style emphasizes telling the multiple stories of everyday life through its use of pocket pages and creative journaling cards. I use the Project Life system to keep up with documenting my everyday right-now story. My current album is a 9×12 black canvas album from Studio Calico. Here’s what it looks like:
Week of: April 6th -April 12th
Theme/Stories: This was a pretty low-key week with most of my time spent working. I'm pretty bad at taking pictures of my work day, so I stuck with a couple of desk shots and a photo of the shop wall in the office. The theme was inspired by a 'maker' themed PL set sold over at Studio Calico.

Favorite Part: This spread is filled with texture. The white circle date card is letterpressed, the 'art happens' badge is stitched, and each of the paper/sticker embellishments have a different finish.

Tip: When you're short on stories and/or photos -- pick out a theme (art/maker in this spread) and view your week through the lens of that theme. I felt really scattered when I first started putting this week's pages together, but choosing to look at the week through an art/maker lens, made it much easier to pick out a few simple stories that illustrated what my life was like that week.

Supplies: Studio Calico Maker Card Set, Thursday3 wood stamp, Ali Edwards Little Things Story Kit, lots of old stuff from my stash
