There are many stories I wanted to tell around my technology routine. I used these stories as inspiration to create more journaling space on my traditional layout. It was important for me to include not only my day to day use of technology but also my deliberate attempt to unplug at night and unwind.
A simple page this week. Journaling reads: Technology. Oh my. It can be both a blessing and a curse. Right? I am a very visual person. Love photography. I love my cell phone camera, love IG. Love sharing my life that way and leaving a legacy for my kids. I share my life through photos. But I still LIVE my life. I still LIVE. I believe too much of anything is a bad thing. I honestly can't believe the number of ppl that drive distracted. Huge pet peeve. Put the phone down. And those ppl that can't seem to put down their phones. For anything. Ugh. Love technology, but still be present. Still engage with your fellow man.

For this prompt I tried to think about an element of technology that has the biggest impact on my life and one piece of technology I can't live without each day is my headphones. Of course, I use my phone to listen to actually listen to podcasts and music, but just having my phone without headphones is a day-ruiner for me. So for my project, I made a little ode to headphones with some patterned paper and fun letter stickers.
Lately my technology routine has shifted from being Facebook-centric to focussing on Instagram. I adore the colourful inspiration and positive messages I find on IG, so I chose to document that. I took screenshots of a handful of feeds that I'm loving right now! To emphasize the IG theme on my page I included a couple photo frame embellishments and my IG handle.
At first, I struggled a bit with this challenge as I am quite an 'analogue' person. In this page, I tried to represent the things that technology has now come to replace, such as paper maps, letters and camera film. Making this, I realised that the most important thing I use technology for is to connect with the people I care about.
