Prepping for a Week-Long Documenting Project

What is this Project? Week in the Life is an annual documenting project, put together by my friend Ali Edwards. I’ve been putting this project together every year for more than a decade now. It’s one of my favorite albums each year, and I’m excited to document this last week in April.

Today’s page was another practice session. I wanted to play around with one of the stamp sets and my ink colors to see how I might want to use them in the album.

I really like the idea of a 4x6 card with all the question marks or exclamation points in whatever the day’s color is. So you’ll probably see something like that in my final album.

Technique of the Day

Practice! Use Daily Pages to have fun with supplies that you know you’re going to use for bigger/more important projects. It makes those important pages so much easier. You’ve leveled up your skills through practice, you made yourself more comfortable through practice. It’s a win/win.

Reflections & Insights

Learn more about Week in the Life over on the Ali Edwards blog. It’s a great project, and you don’t need to document this upcoming week, you can do it whenever!
