Behind the Page

This is my last Daily Pages for the week — I’m taking tomorrow and Friday off for food, football, and family. I’ve got emails ready for you for the next few days, including a new Currently List card and a flip-through of last year’s December Daily Pages album.

I’ll start my 2024 December Daily Pages on Monday, and you can join me and my live sessions M-F at Noon ET. No need to sign up for any recurring membership or subscription. Just some creative time with me and the community this December. It’s the perfect way for you to get some creative time into your December each day.

Technique of the Day

I wanted to make some type of holiday-related page. So I grabbed these pie stamps and dreamed up a pie that I’m absolutely not going to make for dessert this week (we’ve already got a lot on deck as far as desserts go), but I just had fun with the page and went from there. Pies, fall leaves, baking stuff — whatever worked. I added a few words about what I’m excited for. I love journaling about what I’m excited for.

Tips & Creative Wisdom

Use Stickers or Pre-Made Elements

Keep it simple by using stickers, washi tape, or pre-made elements like journaling cards. These can really help to fill up the page and add a decorative touch without requiring much effort, letting you focus on the fun parts of the process.

Pro Tip: Keep a small stash of favorite stickers or little bits on hand for busy days. How does having easy-to-use supplies help you stay consistent?
