Project Life 2013: The End
This is my story.
I love documenting my everyday life; here's how I'm doing it.
This is the end of Project Life 2013. This project took a couple of different forms throughout the year, between full 12x12 double page spreads throughout the year to a smaller 8x6 size for the summer. I'm glad that I stuck with the 12x12 pages for the rest of 2013. I like the way the book came out in its entirety, but I also know that another year of 12x12 double page spreads is not in the immediate future.
Moving forward, I want to give myself more room to document the small things that are happening in my everyday life, but in a more separated manner. I want to create more mini-albums (my passion) and use smaller pocket page albums to document moments rather than weeks at a time.
I plan on sharing my pocket page album approximately once a month here on the blog, so look for those posts during the first week or so of each month. In those posts, I'll be sharing my pages, the supplies I used, and a few tips and tricks I used throughout the creative process. If there is ever anything that you'd like to see, please let me know by leaving a message in the comments, or shooting me an email at rukristinpapercrafts@gmail.com.
As always, thank you for reading -- and here's my last Project Life spread of 2013!

Date:
November 25th - 30th
Moments:
I was SO SICK. Ugh. The flu hit me so hard, 10 days with a fever. Thank god that we had family over for Practice Thanksgiving the week before, because I barely made it to the table for Thanksgiving dinner -- J wound up pretty much making all of the food, he's kind of the best.
I also had my Holiday Extravaganza blog party this week, which was an awesome success -- and lots of thanks to all the people who participated.

Favorite Part:
Obviously my favorite part of this spread is the arts and crafts turkey that J made for me at school. I had it hanging up in my studio until I put together this spread, now I can keep it forever.
Tip:
I had terrible pictures this week, so instead of being unhappy with full 3x4 and 4x6 photos, I printed the pictures extra small using a PicFrame collage and my Selphy printer. I completed the story with a lot of arrows and journaling.
I've found that the only way for me to be successful at this project is to realize that it's a lot of give and take. I have a routine, and a way that I like to start out, but I can't get caught up and frustrated if my normal routine isn't working for me right now. That causes me to back myself into a corner and never finish. If this is supposed to be a documentation of my everyday life, then it needs to fit into the way that I live my everyday life.
I'm so looking forward to playing around with this more in 2014!
