Project Life 2013: Finishing Up
This is my story.
I love documenting my everyday life; here's how I'm doing it.
I finished 2013. I needed to get it done. Over the past couple of weeks I've gotten so many awesome and exciting ideas for documenting 2014 -- but I've felt totally bogged down by my 2013 Project Life and the need to finish it before moving on to the next thing.
So I sat down one Saturday night and just busted through the rest of the year. It took a whole night -- but I felt SO good. I'll be sharing these last spreads throughout the month of January while I work on my new smaller-sized, event-based Project Life for 2014.
This spread spans two weeks. There wasn't too much going on either week, but there were a few really great days that I wanted to capture in full. I think it was while I was working on this spread that I really decided that I was going to shift to the smaller format/event style Project Life for 2014. I just love capturing multiple details from an day or an event, and I think with the weekly format I was feeling really pressured to display a snapshot of the week, instead of focusing on the things that I actually wanted to document.
I'm so glad that I finished up Project Life 2013 with the 12x12 page protectors, but I'm even more excited to be moving forward with a new approach that fits me a bit better.
Date:
October 28th through November 10th

Moments:
Date Night in NYC, Halloween, lots of cuddly K & J photos
Favorite Part:
I really like the photo with the text on the top. I used the Rhonna Designs App on the iPhone to create the text mask and then printed the photo (and all my photos) out on my Selphy.
Tip:
Add in memorabilia with a paper clip. Secure it to the front of the pocket so that it won't fall out of the album. Freckled Fawn's newest paperclips are amazingly perfect for this and I'll be putting them to use in my 2014 album for sure.
Tools:
Design F page protectors, Sakura Microperm pen, Tonic paper trimmer, Selphy cp900 photo printer,

I'm currently documenting my everyday life using a modified version of the the Project Life pocket page documenting system designed by Becky Higgins. You can see recent project life posts here, or check out this page for older versions of this project.
