Project Life 2015 | March 30th - April 5th

Project Life 2015
Project Life (tm) is a memory-keeping/scrapbooking style designed by Becky Higgins. The style emphasizes telling the multiple stories of everyday life through its use of pocket pages and creative journaling cards. I use the Project Life system to keep up with documenting my everyday right-now story. My current album is a 9x12 black canvas album from Studio Calico. Here's what it looks like:
Week of: March 30th-April 5th
Theme/Stories: This week was all about prepping for and hosting our Passover Seder. We went to the market for fresh produce, spent hours combing through different books to create our personalized Passover Haggadahs for the dozen guests we had over for dinner. The left side of the spread deals with the pre-party prep and the right side of the spread deals with the party itself.

Favorite Part: My favorite part of this spread is definitely the little model of the Passover table, with a place setting stamp for each person. One of the recent Studio Calico kits had this awesome food stamp set and this journaling card (which reminded me of a tablecloth). I put the two of them together for an infographic type approach to journaling the guests of our party.

Tip: Color Palettes are your friend. The photos in this spread are a little all over the place -- different lighting in each, different subject matter, etc. I used a strong color palette. peach, red, pink, grey, and black to detract from the weird colors in the photos.
Supplies: Studio Calico Lisse Street PL Kit, Ali Edwards Gathering Story Kit, Kelly Purkey, Canon Selphy
