Behind the Page

Today I wanted something fun, simple, and easy. Last night while I was relaxing, I came up with an idea I want to use next week for my birthday page. I’m excited to see how it’s gonna turn out (it could be a disaster). So, when I got to my desk today, I decided that I wanted to get some practice in with stencils and gel printing, since that’s what I’m planning for next week.

I’m so ready for the weekend, and some good football. I’m gonna make some pizza dough tonight or tomorrow afternoon for the games. Normally, I love making pizza outside in the Ooni pizza oven, it’s so amazing. But it’s been so cold, that I think I need something I can put in the oven to help heat up the house just a bit. This is my favorite in-oven pizza recipe, so I’ll probably stick with tried and true.

Technique of the Day

I went over and flipped through my stencils, and found this one that Jeff got me last year and I still haven’t used. I grabbed my Sharpie Creative Markers, and got to stenciling on the gel plate. These are my favorite markers to use with the gel plate, they’re so easy to control, and I don’t feel like I need crazy skills to make things look fun.
