Hey friends!

It’s the first of the month, and that means it’s time for a brand new LENS theme and mini-magazine. This month, we’re all about Photography. What are the things you love about taking photos, capturing moments, using pictures in your pages, and more. This monthly content is a part of your paid Substack subscription (or or Feminist Scrapbook School membership). It’s overflowing with inspiration and ideas to help you get your stories told.

rukristin: Feminist Scrapbooker is supported by creative humans like you. To receive our Lens Mini-Magazine each month and support our work, consider becoming a paid subscriber.

Here’s what you can look forward to this month:

  • Photography: This issue of Lens Magazine celebrates the art of taking pictures. Whether with a traditional camera or the phone you keep in your pocket. Packed with creative prompts, thoughtful reflection questions, and a bunch of photo-focused ideas, every page invites you to ignite your creativity with us this month.

  • Daily Pages Challenge: Dive into 5 different Daily Pages challenges, each designed to encourage you to get some photos onto the page.

  • Book of Me - Photography Edition: Lean into our monthly story and style prompts, helping you to craft at least one page in your Book of Me. This month is all about our photos and the ways in which we share those in our scrapbooks.

  • Creative Team Inspirations: Get inspired by our talented creative team's contributions this month, making projects that really share their love of all things photography.

One of my Book of Me pages for this month — I used a digital frame around my photo before printing it out. It adds more interest and helps the nature elements stand out.

Lots of my Book of Me pages are super simple. It’s a book where I want to tell stories about who I am and the life I’m living. There are lots of other places for me to really stretch my creative muscles, but in this season of life, I’m really enjoying simple Book of Me pages.
