Behind the Page

Oh wow, I’m so tired. Awesome Ladies Live this past weekend was amazing! And I’m so thankful to everyone who made the trek out to East Lansing for our final ALL in Michigan. We still had some wrap up events happening Monday morning, so I didn’t get to put together a Daily Page. But I got back into the swing of things and decided to kick off my week yesterday with my (traditionally Monday) Currently List.

Technique of the Day

I wanted to keep things as simple as possible — so I grabbed a Currently List and one of the gel prints I created last week and just made the easiest page possible. I added two little black triangles for the corners — love that contrast. And slapped a silver holographic sticker over on the left.

Reflections & Insights

Taking personal time is essential to not burning yourself out. When it comes to your creative practice, you need to give yourself rest after a big event. Especially one where you were exerting your creative energy (as well as your physical or mental energy). I’m glad that I took Monday off from Daily Pages, and that I let myself slide into the week with an easy Currently List.

Do the same for yourself! <3
