Let's Play Catch-Up with Project Life
Hi hi,
Let's talk a little bit about falling behind and catching up on everyday scrapbooking projects.

So I'm not a huge fan of getting caught in 'catch-up' mode. I hate the anxiety and the pressure that accompanies falling behind on my goals. That nonsense can paralyze me for weeks.

Luckily I've made a plan to keep myself out of the 'catch-up' abyss for a while longer. Here's where I'm at:
Months completed: January-June
Months remaining: July, August, September
I've split up the year into multiple albums. The winter, spring, and fall months are all documented in a 9x12 binder with weekly spreads. The summer months are documented in an 8x6 album with spreads based on events and adventures.

Right now I'm back to working in my 9x12 album on September's spreads. I'm much more efficient (and creative) when I'm working with on this project soon after the time has passed.
That's one of the reasons I'm leaving my summer album as something for me to work on slowly. I know it's not going to come together quickly and I really don't want to rush it. I have all the basics documented in my planner and on Instagram so I'm not super concerned about forgetting stuff. This August was also when I documented Week in the Life, so I already have a lot of the cool detail stuff written down.

I'm still at a bit of a loss on the best way for me to keep up with this project. I was really prolific before we moved to Michigan and I just haven't found my rhythm here yet. I have a few things in mind for this fall and I'll let you know how it goes.
For right now, here are my spreads from late April through June:
