Behind the Page

I just felt like playing with paint today. I didn’t have an end result in mind. I just grabbed my set of Golden acrylics. The result is this really interesting background paper that I really love.

I’m starting to feel a little better, my headaches are subsiding, but my brain is still not back into full thinking mode, so my creativity definitely isn’t firing on all cylinders yet. So, I’m still just kind of messing around on my pages with whatever catches my eye.

And honestly, after having a much more rigid Daily Pages experience last month during Color Month, I’m really enjoying these more chill vibes.

Technique of the Day

Before I got over to my desk today, I grabbed this small set of Golden acrylic paints that I have. It’s got several different types of paints and mediums, so it’s a great beginner set. I picked it up when I first started gel printing. It was an excellent way to see how the different types of acrylic paint work on the gel plate and figure out which ones I liked best!
