Today’s Color

Behind the Page

Another single page for this Sunday afternoon. I’m doing a few single pages in the hopes that I’ll fit all my pages for Color Month in this one notebook. I might need to do a couple of hidden pages, and a few more singles — but I’m confident I can make it happen.

Technique of the Day

Today’s page is all about simple layers, using what I’ve got around my desk.

The top layer is one of the colored Brandi Kincade quote cards that I’m going to be using throughout my album. The next layer is a vellum journaling block with red-orange scalloped edges. And the final layer is a sheet of paper that I made with some red paint and some orange paint (see the full process in our latest Daily Pages masterclass).

Reflections & Insights

I hope that you all had a great weekend. I got some extra rest and I’m excited to dive into next week — hope that you can join me for more Color Month.
