#KandJdoMiami: Miami's Wynwood Neighborhood

Wow. It is hot in Miami. But wow was it also awesome, beautiful, and the food was to die for.
I was totally not ready for the weather. 85 degrees Fahrenheit and about 95% humidity the entire time with a ton of rain. It was not pants weather, and I only packed one summer dress and probably should have packed an umbrella. That being said, we had a seriously fabulous time.

We were in the city for the APPAM conference that J was attending. I did some work from the hotel and then tagged along to help him figure out what he wants to start writing his dissertation about. The conference ended on Saturday afternoon, so we had Saturday night and Sunday to explore some of Miami. Saturday night we hit up a restaurant downtown Cviche105 for the most incredible Peruvian food. The seafood in Miami was absolutely amazing.
On Sunday we spent the day walking around the Wynwood District which has the most amazing street art, a bunch of great galleries, and some fabulously unique food and shopping. I spent most of the afternoon taking photos and I needed to share them with you. If you ever get the chance to get to Miami, please head over to Wynwood and check out all the amazing art.
Here are (some of) my favorite photos from the afternoon:

All photos taken with my iPhone6+ and edited using the PicTapGo app.
I'll be adding all these (and more) to a Miami mini-album in the future. I picked up a fun letterpress notebook in the Wynwood Letterpress shop while we were walking around that will be perfect for a bunch of little photos and memorabilia. I'm definitely planning on printing a couple of these out to hang on the wall. Which are your favorites?
