I stuck the sticker from the museum entrance ticket in my travel journal I also used the bag tag stickers I love that it tells the date and the airports we flew to and from
I do this too—I cover drawings (I’m not warm to) with them too. I take a tiny journal with me to every exhibit. I draw the people looking at the art or exhibit.
I have an envelope full of stickers that I've collected, just waiting for the perfect place for them to live. This has inspired me to get out one of the many blank notebooks I own (because, who can resist them?) and actually start a life book. Thank you! Subscribed!
Your notebooks are beautiful! I have been keeping a field notebook a month for almost six years and I rarely use color or drawing, etc in my books, but I might just try it now.
Yooo you inspired me to do weekly pages this year, and it’s been encouraging me to add in tiny watercolor paintings and drawings, which I rarely ever did before this year.
Wow! I love these ideas, and they’re very approachable.
I think the most important thing—for me since I’ve been journaling and sketch-booking since 1989–was, and still is, to keep going.
I don’t know any other reality. Yesterday, I whipped out only one plastic tub—not archival—of sketchbooks for therapy.
It was incredible to see my progression. This morning I shared an excerpt from a 2002 journal. And, yes, I’ve given them titles since I got tired of numbering them.

Yess!! Those are some of my favorite little bits. They’re so real!

I love that
Ive always thought of doing this, but then think, my notebook would be full of daisies & tea bag wrappers. Every day.
I think that sounds awesome!
Ok. I'm gonna give it a go & see where it takes me.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 heck yes. I’m here for whatever support you need :)
Flowers, kids, & tea is usually my day....
Honestly sounds pretty perfect for a notebook.
Do it anyway! When I’m stuck I draw cigarettes and now they are this big hilarious theme in my crafts and my life (even thought I don’t smoke).
That will do!
I stuck a page from a newspaper which was a scene from a Turkish resort & added 3 words
Fabulous!
I've recently been gluing labels of different products I've been using.
That’s such a great way to document what you’re using! I love that.

Heck yeah! So excited for you and your notebook!
Thank you. This post may be the turning point I’ve been seeking.
You’re so welcome. Please reach out if you’ve got any questions.

Thank you so much!! You should absolutely give it a go! A bit of color, some stickers, whatever you’ve got around.
I'm a journal facilitator but haven't done a lot of creative journaling. I am keen to get into it. I will be following along.
Thank you for this post. It’s my first time meeting you here and creative journaling is of great interest to me.

The last thing I glued in my notebook was a hospital visitor badge. Not fun, but that was the day I had yesterday, so it goes into the notebook.
It’s great practice to document the sucky days too. Hope your today is better.
I always enjoy the peak into the journals. I definitely need to get back into creating and collecting like this.
Valentine’s postcard from a dear friend.
