Hello California: A Mini-Album
California Daybook
#kandjdoca

Subject:
In January of 2013, we took a trip out to California for the CHA trade show and an extended trip away from home. We went to Disneyland, Venice Beach, and did a bunch of sightseeing around the LA area.
Date Made:
Over a 3-4 month period of time -- March to June 2013.
Construction:
This is an Amy Tangerine Daybook. I left all of the pages in their original order, but ripped out a couple of sheets that didn't work with the story.
Number of Pages:
30 + front and back cover
Notable Parts:
Obviously the photo with Rob Delaney (yes, I am that short) -- I thought it was super cute paired up with the die-cut lady page in the daybook.
I really like the pocket pages for extra photos and memorabilia. I took hundreds of photos at Griffith Park, but I didn't want to take up half the book with them, so it proved to be a perfect solution.
The pictures from Venice Beach (the sunset pictures) are probably my favorite pictures of all time.
I love using these pre-made daybooks for getting out a long story in chronological order. They read like a storybook and keep the narrative interesting -- and you can just pull embellishments from your stash to add as much (or as little) as you'd like.
Materials Used:
Amy Tangerine Daybook, Kelly Purkey Alpha stickers, California stamp, Sakura microperm pen, random embellishments.
