Guest Post: Meg from Marmalade & Mementos Shares a Currently Mini-Album
The following is a guest post from Awesome Ladies Creative Team member Meg Woolston. MegĀ blogs at Marmalade Mementos about telling your story in memorable, meaningful ways.

In my 2014, I worked on my Project Life album weekly, which gave me plenty of space to highlight all of the things I was currently reading, watching, etc. This year, I decided to switch to a monthly Project Life format, which means I'll be focusing more on big-picture level sharing. However, I didn't want to stop documenting all of these little loves, so I decided to create a mini book separated into sections by season where I can keep track of these details throughout the year!
Starting with the little black notebook from the set of 3 DIY Shop Daybooks* in the rukristin shop, I started working on the cover by cutting out a cute geotag shape from a 3x4" journal card from Simple Stories (they've since retired the set with this card, but you could easily cut out a shape from any other journal card you like to decorate the cover!) After adhering the shape with ultra-thin glue dots, I used a set of white Dear Lizzy Thickers alpha stickers to create a title.

On the inside cover, I created a brief intro page to explain the purpose of the book (also using a 3x4" journal card, which I trimmed down to fit). Then, I counted out the pages, dividing the book into 4 equal sections and creating a seasonal divider page for each using black alpha stickers from Recollections.

For each section, I chose a chalk ink color from the QuickQuotes Powderpuff line that I felt represented the particular season (Very Berry, a purplish-pink, for spring. Green With Envy, a grassy green, for summer. Mango Mai Tai, a deep orange, for autumn. Blue Hawaiian, an icy blue, for winter). Then, using a clear acrylic stamp block (similar found here) so I could easily choose a placement, I stamped a title using the "Currently" stamp from Kristin's clear stamp setĀ on the top of each left-hand page, 4 times per color. Chalk inks are great for projects such as this where you don't want to wait forever for the ink to dry before flipping to the next page! They dry quickly, don't smudge, and their small size makes them easy to dab onto small stamps without getting ink all over!

Once I had the Currently title on each page, I used the prompt stamps from Kristin's set and a tiny black chalk inker (similar found in this set) to create a two-page spread for each season for "watching," "reading," and "loving," and a one-pager per season that I can later choose to fill with the other Currently prompts based on what's happened during those particular months that I'd like to highlight (the right-hand side next to each of these one-pagers is the following season's divider page).
Once all the prep work was done, it was time for the fun part. Since Spring is already half-over and I didn't anticipate starting any new shows before summer, I completed my "Currently Watching" page for Spring. Using Google image search, I chose some good representative photos of the shows I've been watching this season, resized them in Photoshop, printed them, and trimmed them down to fit in the book. Then I added some brief journaling using this pen and a few stickers and chipboard embellishments to finish off the page (Hashtag and "hello" stickers from a MAMBI Chips chipboard sticker set that's no longer sold online. Similar type of sticker pack here. "Me" and black heart stickers from MAMBI clear sticker pocket page collection). To tie in my title color of choice to the rest of the page, I adhered the #smile chipboard sticker to a piece of white cardstock, trimmed it to be slightly larger than the sticker, and inked the edges with the same color I used for the title stamp.
