Friday Flowers (and Paint Markers too)
Trying out some new supplies before the end of the week
Behind the Page
I’m wrapping up the week with some simple die cut flowers that I embellished with my new favorite markers. I had fun with these markers yesterday, and I wanted to work with them a little bit more before the week ended.
Technique of the Day
I had a fun time playing around with these Sharpie Creative Markers again. I just grabbed the marker color that was closest to the cardstock color, and traced over the die lines in the flowers. I love the result.
Reflections & Insights
It’s been so humid here this week. At first glance the temperature looked pretty decent, but it’s been like drinking water straight out of the air every time I get outside. Which means, I’ve been spending most of my working time in the other room on my laptop and not in my studio. Unsurprisingly, my studio is a disaster and needs a good solid cleaning this weekend.
How often do you get around to cleaning up your space? Do you have a regularly scheduled cleaning? Do you wait until you don’t have any more room in your space?
