Create a Foil Stamped Mini-Album with the Minc
Hey everyone, Katie here today! Back at Christmas I got a Heidi Swapp Minc machine. Which I love btw, and one of the things I've been wanting to do is foil stamped designs. Today I'm sharing a foil stamped mini-album I created using the Minc machine and rukristin stamps.

If you don't know already, the Minc is a foil applicator. It foils laser toner designs. Heidi Swapp recently released new ways to use it. Now with paints and inks that you can use to foil, which is what I'm using here to add foiled stamping to this mini album!
Supplies Used:
I used the Screen Ink with rukristin's Basics Alphabet and Basics Months stamps.

How to Foil Stamp using Stamps & the Minc
If you also have a Minc, here's how I did it. It's not a perfectly foiled effect, but I like it!
I started by squeezing a small bit of the screen ink onto a plastic palette and spreading it out a little with my brayer.

Next, I placed my stamps into the ink on the plastic and then stamped them onto my mini album. It is important to have baby wipes on hand so that you can wipe the extra ink off your stamps immediately.

I let my stamped images dry completely (you're not supposed to put anything wet through the Minc.), and then cut pieces of transfer foil to cover the designs.
Then I just ran them through the Minc machine!

They look so much better in person or on a video than pictures, as it is hard to capture that amazing shine on camera.

I'm feeling so pumped about this finished album. The foil adds so much to it! While the screen ink method doesn't have perfectly stamped designs, I'll be happy with it until they come out with an actual stamping ink for the Minc!
Do you like foiled embellishments?
