Feminist Friday -- What are you thinking about?
I love ending the week with a good old Feminist Friday page.
Behind the Page
Getting back into the swing of things this week has been fun. Definitely some ups and downs, but absolutely ending the week on a high note. One of the things I mentioned yesterday, was that I was really leaning into the themed days throughout the week. My theme for Fridays is feminism — and it really felt right for today.
Technique of the Day
I really wanted to redo the stenciling and stamping that I botched earlier this week.
Things I made sure to do today:
Start off with a thick paint that I knew would work with the stencil — the Blick studio paints are my go-to right now.
I used the StazOn ink so that I wouldn’t have any smudging or messiness. I love how crisp the images came out this time.
Tried out the StazOn ink on some washi tape to see how it worked (pretty well, especially considering the different lines of overlapping washi).
This page was definitely a combination of all the little lessons that I learned this week. It’s a great way to reinforce the different things that you figured out recently.

Tips & Creative Wisdom
Enjoy your weekend! We’re getting a little bit of rain tomorrow, so I’m going to spend a bunch of time cleaning up my studio this weekend (I literally have hours of cleaning and organizing to do, and it’s not all getting done now).
What are you working on this weekend?
