Creativity doesn't have to be a grand production—sometimes the simplest moments can be the most satisfying. Check out a few of my favorite ways to create simple pages, along with some instant inspiration.
Sticker Page
Grab some stickers and just stick them down. Anywhere. Seriously, there's no wrong way to do it.
Stickers have this weird magic—no matter what age we are, peeling and placing them can feel so right. Maybe it’s a page full of flowers, random doodads, or even just those old planner stickers that never found a use. It's quick, it’s fun, and it’s an easy way to start your creative engine without even thinking too much.
Use whatever stickers you've got lying around and see where your page takes you.
Doodle Page
Let your pen wander wherever it wants to go—doodles are perfect for this.
Doodling is amazing because it doesn’t demand anything from you. You don't need to have a plan or even be "good" at it. Draw some squiggles, color them in, make little characters, or let yourself get lost in tiny shapes. Grab some markers or colored pencils and just let it happen. Five minutes doodling can work wonders for the soul.
Creativity is like a muscle—doodling is a fun, low-stress workout.
Quote Page
Write down a quote that hits you—make it pretty if you feel like it.
Quotes have power. It could be something that made you laugh, a line from your favorite book, or even a random phrase that popped into your head. Write it big and bold, or small and neat, then add a little flair—some doodles, a bit of color, whatever makes you smile. It's a simple, creative boost that turns words into art.
Take the words that move you and make them your own.
Coloring Page
Coloring isn’t just for kids—it’s also a great excuse to slow down.
If you have an adult coloring book (or even a kids' one), great! If not, find some clear stickers, draw a simple shape and color it in. There’s something about filling in spaces with color that helps to focus the mind and let go of stress. Don't worry about staying inside the lines or making it perfect—the goal is to play.
Use this moment to enjoy the simple satisfaction of adding color to your day.
Junk Page
Got some clutter on your desk? Stick it in your notebook and make something out of it.
A junk page is all about using whatever random bits and pieces are around you—receipts, scrap paper, notes you no longer need. Glue them down, arrange them however you like, and turn those scraps into something creative. It’s a reminder that even the mess can be meaningful, and that creativity doesn’t have to be curated or fancy.
Everyday clutter can be transformed—let it tell a story.
Creativity doesn’t need a big plan or lots of time. Sometimes, the small moments—a sticker here, a doodle there—are exactly what we need to add a little joy to our day.
What small creative act can you fit into your day today?
